A reseller is not as bad as you think. One great thing about a reseller is if you run out of space all of the major people you buy one from will increase the amount of space you need as you go.

Not only that but lets say you use godaddy. You buy a reseller, sell out all of the extra space, GoDaddy will not only add more space for you but you always have the options of transfering everything from the reseller onto a dedicated server if the reseller can no longer handle all of the accounts.

Since the reseller is nothing more than a large hosting account it is all hosted on the dedicated server you will soon buy after you fill the reseller. Buying space is not the hard part, the hard part is how do you set your self apart from the hundreds of thousands of other large and small hosting companys.
