If you want to know what you can do with these programs try looking up some tutorials for each online, you will probably find that photoshop is by far the best as Sean said!

Re: PhotoShop and PaintShop Pro Tutorlas.

which one is the best tut for working with slices in image-ready.

I can make it look good in PS, then when I go to image ready and try to slice it up, it never works like I want it to. Ie where text is supposed to go it makes that as an image slice etc..

Re: PhotoShop and PaintShop Pro Tutorlas.

So I take it the program is not just a mirror of PaintShop Pro with some added little tid bits. With the name Photo Shop, I assume you can also edit pictures taken with a digital cam; but could someone elaborate on some of the things one might do with program. Also, when y'all speak of PaintShop Pro, is that relative to the Corel version; I know Adobe makes the PhotoShop?

(Just a pic my son drew and I edited w/Corel PhotoHouse. Does this look familiar to anyone else besides me?)

Re: PhotoShop and PaintShop Pro Tutorlas.

to make a long story short....

forget about paint shop pro, that is just for noobs like Wasahobo :P

Just because Photoshop has the word 'photo' in it doesnt mean its software focussed on photos. Its the best web design software on the market, and anyone who is anyone in web design uses it
