Updating vBulletin and phpBB templates

This week i will be starting on updating all our templates.

For vBulletin i will be updating to 3.7.x and for phpBB i will be updating all templates for phpBB3

Im hoping to get all this done this week.

Great stuff! That's alot to do in one week. There are so few decent skins for 3.7, can't wait to test out some decent skins for vBulletin 3.7 finally.

Hey Sean i was reading up on vbulletin 3.7 beta4 on vbulletin.org this post and I was just wondering if the new themes for vbulletin will be fully beta 4 compatible. The reason I want to know is because beta 4 is meant to include the last of the features to be added before it goes stable, meaning with luck there will be no change between beta 4 and stable on a template level.

The new template will be compatible with the latest beta version which i believe is 4, then once vbulletin goes gold it will be alot easier to update my templates.

I have a vBulletin 3.7 beta4 testbed using Default and the Darkness 3.6.8 theme at the moment. You've got your work cut out for you there's alot of new stuff lol.

Not that you need my input but i've noticed some things need changing for the 3.6.8 Darkness theme so I will share with you my experience. The quicklinks drop down menu has a problem showing some links, not all link texts appear, the memberinfo page looks weird and the 3.7 attached image lightbox is a no go. Other than that haven't really seen any problems. Srry I cant be a bit more constructive.

Im about 70% complete on updating the templates for vBulletin.

Well today im finishing autoelectric and then webconferencia. I will start releasing the free templates one by one the days after that, i will make sure i do USFTECH and Darkness first as they are the most popular templates.

Lets say by the 1st of June all the vBulletin templates will be updated
