As promised the new web page (with forums) is loaded and running... 1 or 2 bugs left to sort out though, the avatars don't upload. the member ends up with a dead placeholder where the avatar should be and I have to FTP the image to the /forums/images/avatars folder and then rename it to work...

Any chance of a fix/patch/work around ? or maybe I've set it up wrong... all paths seem to be correct.

Very nice [X]enomorph ! I love the scrolling information and your left-side display. Looks realy professional.

Now, if I could even just log into my site, it would be a welcomed relief.

I had the same trouble a while ago... turned out to be a cookie path issue... there's a tool you can download to fix that problem I downloaded it off the PHPBB web site...

if you can't find it, PM me your MSN and I'll send it to you.

okee.. Thx. We just changed the cookie path prior to this problem. The server could login, but I couldn't. Don't make much sense does it?

it's weird that you can't login... seriously. have you tried loggin in on another computer?

G'day Fragalot, I've been in communication with Shera about a cookie fix that solved the problem I was having. It sound exactly the same as the problem Shera is experiencing. I'll PM you the link to where I have uploaded the cookie fix files.

Only the a user with FTP access can upload the cookie fix to the root directory of the forum and run it, all the instructions are there. It sounds like you're just the person we needed to talk to to solve this issue...

Yup, Yup, Yup.... good to see ya bk too. I left several messages on your msngr one with that link as well since I knew when he spoke of FTP root directory, that kinda left me out the loop. And ya, I tried from my daughter's puter, but we're on the same router, so it was same outcome.

Once u get me FTP access Shera which allows me to create and delete directorys i will complete that work u want done.

I'll email you what I have, it does not give access to anything outside my own folders.

Well... I could actually login for a sec last evening, but that didn't last long.

If you can login, then please go the the admin section and replace those cookies the way they were.

Maybe its a phpbb thing, who knows; maybe I should change over to that other template form Sean suggested due to php instability; I don't know. I would just like to be able to log into my own forums to check posts and reply.
