Smilie position

I think you dont understand my problem
look:

i write a text:

fsahg dljkhsalkg jhasldjfhasd ljfhalsdfhasldfh

now when the text is ready i would like to put some smilies in the text:

fsahg dljkhsalkg jhasldjfhasd (HERE IS ME CURSOR AND I CLICK ON A SMILIE) ljfhalsdfhasldfh

but the smilie takes not that position. the smilie is allways on the end of the text !

try adding the smiles before adding "ljfhalsdfhasldfh"

yes, this way it goes. But when you forgot one, then you must add it to the end and copy it on the right position - thats damn !
Can i dont change the smilie position when i click on it ?
Here in this forum it works !

your using phpBB and i am using vBulletin but this shouldnt make any difference.
Try contacting phpBB via there forums because i am sorry to say i have no idea what is causing your problem or even if this is how phpBB works.

ok, i found the problem in the posting_body.tpl and posting_smilies.tpl.
The Problem is that FF is dont compatible to the funktion " caretPos ".
