Hi Sean, this is a really wonderful design.

I've tinkered with it a bit for something I may start using and have run into a wee problem.

As you can see, I've edited the banner which forced me to make it so the forum is at a fixed width which I've set small enough to be viewable on 1024 x 768 screens without scrolling (and added a side bar for links or feed or somesuch).

So far, so good. Here's the rub:

Viewing the forum in Firefox, it looks fine...BUT...in IE, the top few pixels of the banner are actually placed *below* the "profile login..." line, throwing things off. I've no idea what's causing this. Any idea?

maybe search for <br /> and see if this is cauing the problem

I'll check it, but do you think that would make a difference between IE and Firefox? It appears there's an extra few pixels in the first cell but I can't for the life of me figure out why. Will keep digging...

IE can make a fuzz about a single space, or an interspace sometimes...

I'm flumoxed. If it would be acceptable, I'd be happy to past my overall_header template here on the chance some guru has a moment to take a look at it.
