i have to disagree with you LC. The panel that godaddy uses is one of the best i have ever used. Its very simple. Designed very nicely and has alot more options than regualr c-panel.

not to mention the customer support is the best. if you cant do it, call them up and they will do it for you.

My host will do the same, and when you go to transfer from GoDaddy's control panel it is supposadly Harder to do..

This is from what I've heard, i won't go with GoDaddy on anything anymore. They have screwed my friend out of his companies domain name saying that he couldn't verify who he was.. Mean while he provided them with all 100% correct information (paypal, credit card, and so on.) I just don't like them... I rather go with a more independent host.

godaddy have alot of bad reviews, but then so do all the big hosts

as for independent hosts, no way. been there, been burnt, never again.

All hosts get bad reviews, but i must admit i hear alot of bad things about godaddy
