Additional Darkness Buttons

I made some additional buttons for the Darkness theme because it's a wicked theme. I made these for my site and thought I would share.

There are 3 sizes. Each .PSD has 2 layers designed to easily make roll over states.

Cool glad you like them. I haven't tested them as gif's with transparent base layer. Which is why I included the coloured base layer, so when you use them in navbar if you make them gif's they blend seamlessly.

They are good as PNG with no base layer(transparent), but as we know if using PNG 24 bit IE 6 freaks out, so try them as PNG 8 bit if going down the transparent road...

I will update them when I get the time, and make them identical to what they are now but with true gif transparency compatibility.

I'll attach my Darkness theme ranks here as well.
(They are for the Darkness theme specifically in the sense of being in Alexis with glow, like the buttons in the theme.)



The above image a live version of all the additional imagery I have posted in this thread, as well as a roll-over state on one of the buttons.

I guess im sharing all this stuff here because I use the theme (which is free) and want to give something back.

How do you put in your own images shown in your second screenshot? Members List etc... as your own images? Thanks.

you go into your navbar template and look for all the links there, then you replace each text with an image you have made (i provided the template image to add your own text, not a complete set of ready made images)

so to replace the text for "register now", go into your navbar template, find the < a > < /a > that contains the phrase for "Register Now" and simply replace it with your own register now button image that you have uploaded to your site.

dont change the href or any of the tag values, just the bit that appears between the < a > < /a > html tag.

hope that made sense... its an easy thing to do, no doubt ive overcomplicated my explanation
