flash is great, but i stopped designing 100% flash sites because of low search engine ranks

not only that but its way to slow. Most people now want everything fast. Flash just cant keep up

true... very true..

flash isn't fully supported by all browsers aswell. and alot of the older computers can't handle it, and crash when flash is in use, or take 5 minutes to open 1 page.
it's also bad for the 56K users.
and flash can't be shown in text based browsers like links or lynx.

wich is why i try to avoid flash

Realy? Im happy that i didnt go for a fully flash site when i was offered by a friend .. But for intros its good. (in my opinion)

if the main page of your web site has no keywords, your site will get low search engine ranks, so having intro's and splash pages r not a good idea if u want a good ranking site.
