you know when i said the corner was alway's distorted? well i finally decided i should fix it.

since the background comes on the same place on every resolution, why not have the background on that spot. so we can fake the transparent parts i recreated. there you go.

Sean, I've asked this before, but you're quite busy, so here goes again: Is the v-bulletin a more stable template than the phpbb; and would it possibly be more suitable for our forums? Also, would we get all the niceties that come with the 'messege/respons box? IE: choice of fonts, sizes, colorization method, links, images, ect? And, as with Ranks or other haks, are they easily installed, v/s the phpbb? I can't even decifer how to to that with the vague instructions at phpbb.

Maybe. I used to know how to use the much older version and had the program; but its long-since out of date and I can't even find the box or cd now. I think is was compatible for WIN 95. Needless to say, much has changed since then, and maybe I can squeeze in one more class before the end of my course just as a refresher, that way I might be able to get the newer program rather than the 30-day trial version. Just not sure what all I need(suggestions here would be helpful).

I'd probably need to know how to utilize the newer way of page development other than html too. Seems more people are using [whatever the name of it is] now. And then again, with alllllllll the competition out there, I hardly think my measly talent would stand out enough to be much of a draw (no punn intended)...

i have used both phpBB and vBulletin, this site was once a phpBB forum but i ported it too vBulletin when i had about 3000 posts because i was having alot of problems with the hacks i had installed for phpBB which came default with vBulletin for example the attachment mod.
vBulletin also fixes there bug's almost straight away when they r found which is great and makes me feel alot more at ease.

Adding ranks and icons is very simple via vBulletin, but it is also very simple via phpBB lol :P
