Re: America's Army

Well i think they don't mean to be the destructor.. even though they've bought soo many companies and stole their games to produce them under their names (one is WestWood Studios)

Re: America's Army

What they did to Westwood Studios was evil. EA **** on their customers, and people don't give a crap because it seems that their mindset is that companies are allowed to do that to them

Re: America's Army

Westwood studios was the **** when i first started playing games like Dune and Command and Conquer.

I know that EA took them over, but what happened?

Re: America's Army

They had given the Westwood Studios team a choice.. Go with EA LA or go somewhere else.. Most of the employee's of WestWood Studios stood their grounds and did not go with EA's choice, they had actually teamed up with other people and i believe they are mostly part of Lucas Art's (creators of SW:EAW)

The only reason EA had bought Westwood was for the CnC Franchise.. and when Westwood had created CnC Renegade (only FPS for CnC) EA had made an agreement to aid in the production.. But things went sour and EA bought Westwood in the middle of the production of the game.. after that EA destroyed cnc with Generals (should of went back to Red Alert and Tib days) and then recently came out with CnC3 and in production of an expansion of CnC3 for KAIN (Long live Kain). They don't realize but they have royally ****ed over all orig CnC Fans. And trust me, alot of fans were pissed at 3, since it had an epic fail when computers wouldnt run it right, and they had GameSpy run the servers (**** choice, when WOL was the default CnC server choice they ran like it should, 24/7 uptime)... They also had taken the Walls out (everyone pissed at that too due to Engi Rush's) But they did do a good job at the gfx and gameplay.. But installing Scrin was a big mistake and ruined the game for me b/c it used to be just NOD vs. GDI.. Big debates..... now its NOD or GDI or Scrin....

lol, ya i love WestWood Studios and hate EA cant ya tell..

Re: America's Army

its funny we are bringing this up because on CNBC a show Game On: Video was talking about consoles and games and how the affect us and how they have climbed the ladder and became better and how classics still rock.
