| Re: Microsoft Congratulates Mozilla on FireFox 3 yeah, using threads instead of processes makes firefox Slimmer but when something like flash crashes, it crashes the whole process, where as with seperate processes for tabs, it could possibly only crash or stall the one tab.
I like firefox allot because the the CSS rrendering image seems to work most of the time. IE8 is ok, but still has some wierd ways of rendering css. (I do my CSS all in a command line text editor, so I have become quite good knowing how CSS is supposed to work, means I memorize it :P)
Chrome is pretty good. Too bad I can't use it on my gentoo rig. I canon my virtual machines though.
I have a quad core with 8 gigs of ram for developing now. For virtualization, I ahve about 7 Gentoo Linux machines running, 4 Windows xp, 1 Vista, and 1 windows server running on a Gentoo Host OS. Still can't get the damn thing to use more than 2 gigs of ram hehe. I run out of processor availability instead of ram |
