I made this this arvo in about 5 hours. Its a small paddle steamer with a few cannons. crazy idea i had but it looks cool in 3d. The first pic i enhanced with photoshop, the last one is of the steam engine that you can't see with all the panels on it

any feedback is much appreciated

Does anybody want to see some basic tips and tricks i have found on modo, cause if so i might post some tutorials for it on here.

Very nice man, id be very interested in reading some tutorials on this program.
Been using Cinema4D alot myself.

lol mate its nice and all as i said when we where talking before... it looks funny still cracks me up, ohh and how is it supposed to float lol..? looks like i would drop it in water and the front just poo it self and sink... other wise she would have to building up abit of speed to keep the momentem forward to prevent the front dropping down to low into the water, but hey im no scienctist this is purealy cosmetic.

But its nice 5 hours thats pretty sweet, you still gotta come round one weekend and show me how to use modo!! btw ppl i made a black and white soccer ball!!! woohoo go me!! lol.

Very nice - I am totally crap at using 3d programs. It would be great to get some good tuts on here on those type of programs. WD

Is taht C4D? It doesn't look like the version I am working with.

Its modo 102, supposedly the fastest subdivision editer in the world(probably is when you use it correctly).

It hopefully would float. 52,000 ton battleships float. i think it would but i'm no scientist either. it helps if things are parshially realistic

lol... yeah i wish i payed attension in my science class.... last term!! ohh wait i remeber the downwards force (gravity) must be equal to the upthrust creating an object to float there fore the forces are in equalibrium.... lol thats how the battle ships float!! lol something like that and ps gazza says its poo!
