The Programs that are good to buy:

Photoshop cs series

Macromedia studio

A decent program to download would be the gimp 2.3

I will look into those I have maybe $150 US dollars to spend so I am limited there. I didn't realize that those other programs were Piracy and had to even look up the definition of it. I also posted on a Grafix thread at my site that I had to uninstall them because of that reason. The guy that suggested it was from my site. I don't like illegal crap today since I am in Recovery. That is old behavior for this guy. I did however download that gimp not sure which one I got but it was free. Thanks.

What type of design are you looking into doing?

Personally I think Fireworks is one of the best programs you can get if you are looking to get into Web Design.

Photoshop CS is great if you are looking to do things like Photography or other types of design like wallpapers, banners, Sigs, things like that.

Re: Which Software To Buy?

Well for now I went and Printshop Propublisher22 Deluxe I haven't even got it a out of the box yet been busy helping a guy with his free forums that he set up. Ugghhh I hate those things. I think I talked him into buying a domain and of course I know where he can get his server huh Sean

I also have a program that is called my logo maker which is pretty decent I have had it for awhile and have made all my headers with it so far. Now I was about to self-will run riot and buy cr3 for $500.00 bucks but I didn't I will wait awhile for that one.

OK so I have legal stuff now and I am happy camper.

macromedia has been bought over by adobe, so all those applications should be in adobe creative studio, iirc.
However, it is.. E X P E N S I V E but well worth it if you're aiming for professional graphics.

Gimp is good, free, powerfull, but far from user friendly if you ask me.
If you get the hang of it, perhaps with a good tutorial or manual, then i'd suggest you use gimp for playing arround in.

Re: Which Software To Buy?

Now that Adobe owns Macromedia flash, i wish they would implement the tools in photoshop into flash, that would be awesome
