Rep Power: 8  | Re: Photoshop or Gimp I love Photoshop dont get me wrong but i think when it comes down to just Webdesign in General you need to stick with FireWorks. Adobe is actually showing off the new BETA version of it, I think i might upgrade that soon. |

Rep Power: 7  | Re: Photoshop or Gimp Not to mention we are working on a whole new backend for the site that will make us lots of money! Also I haven't updated the portfolio for a long time. not until the new constellation site is up will anything actually happen with the online portfolio.
Oh and for GIMP.... It has allot of powerful features... especially for being free (you have most features from photoshop like effects... ect). And supports allot more formats than photoshop does. But photoshops UI makes doing things SIGNIFICANTLY faster. Even photogimp (A mod of gimp that trys to make gimp feel like photoshop) is more complicated to you. But if you are in the professional business and you're worried about licensing then GIMP is a decent choice. |
