Arrow Photoshop or Gimp

Which do you think is easier to design with?

Photoshop, probably just really used to it and I couldn't switch to Gimp.

Re: Photoshop or Gimp

Fireworks was a problem created by Macromedia. It came from the same people that brought you Flash and Dreamweaver.

As of now, Adobe bought macromedia out so now it is called Adobe Fireworks. It is a problem that is created for Web Design. It does do some stuff when it comes to graphics but it strongest areas are in the field of web design its self.

It is actually the program i use the most when it comes to web design.

Re: Photoshop or Gimp

You know i've never used fireworks, im a Dreamweaver guy.

What are the differences between the 2? I've always had the impression that fireworks is more object orientated and dreamweaver more of a coders program. ?

Re: Photoshop or Gimp

Dreamweaver and Fireworks are two different things. Fireworks is the program you design in and dreamweaver is the program you code in.

Think of it like photoshop and Adobe GoLive
