Haven't been modeling as much lately, instead focusing on maximizing the use of my Mudbox trial before it runs out.
I prefer to use trueSpace mainly because it is free, fast, and easy to use. That and Blender is too...inhuman...even for me.
One other reason is that it allows you to interact with fellow 3D artists via an online shared space built right into TrueSpace, allowing us to do things like hold speed modeling contests and chat. That is one thing I have yet to see anywhere else.
The only thing I've made in the past 2 weeks is a base torso mesh for sculpting with.
I think I'll go back over the trueSpace courses for inspiration. I'm wanting to attempt making advanced hard surface meshes, something I haven't really tried before.
