Rep Power: 9 | Re: I bought my Drawing tablet :D watcher: you can use it to draw something like you would on paper, exept it comes on your screen.
kinda acts as your mouse in photoshop.
but more precise as you use a pen to make the cursor move |

Rep Power: 7 | Re: I bought my Drawing tablet :D Basicaly, you can get mroe accuracy with a pen, than you can with a mouse. So serious graphics designers, 3d graphics people, etc. Own these. It's not really worth the investment if you can't draw, or you don't want an awsome tool for vector graphics, then yeah, there's no point in having it. But I have talked to many graphic artists who make a living in my town, and they say that you only need these if you are into making more custom things, etc.
They said it's worth the investment fior the accuracy, but you should not get the cheap drawing tabletures. Those things are worthless. Usually the cheapest one you should go for is the one I have. The wacom intous 3 6x8 inches of drawing space. And, if you want to, you can draw on paper, put it over the bpad, and trace it, etc. etc. Anyways. When I finaly get used to it, I'll show you some piuctures. It's not very easy to use. Especially if you've never used anything like it before. Sort of the position im in. I was told it takes some dedication to get used to this. But it's very worth the practice for it. gives you a huge advantage over graphic artists for jobs. |

Rep Power: 9 | Re: I bought my Drawing tablet :D scanning takes hours on my end, lol
slow scanner, connected to a slow pc, then i have to find some space on the harddrive since the program wont let me write on my pc's harddrive over the net, and it can't save as jpg or something,
then i have to go back to my pc after i saved it, look for a shared folder on my dad's pc, put the file in there, access it trough my pc, and then i can use it...
so i just gave up on scanning |
