Which screen resolutions do u guys use?

i have a 17" and i run 1208 x 1024 i use that because when im making webs in dreamweaver and photoshop

ive been using 1280x1024 for a long time

but in games i use 1024x768

I use 800x600 for medal of honor running the lowest possible settings available, and i am using a Radeon 9800 rofl.
Its all about the fps for me when it comes to online gaming i dont give **** how ****ty the graphics look as along as i am owning hitting 300+fps

I'm using a 17" LG 700S at 1024x768 85hz and in games I use the same res.

well... considering i dont user my computer cause its a peice of ****...

i'm gonna get a new 1 soon....got an interview for a job on monday...

and i have $1000 to spend so far..i am gonna buy parts and build my computer....

but i dont know what to get or if i should wait...

I would recommand something like this:

AMD Athlon xp 3200+ (barton core) - $320
Gigabyte 7VT600 - $130
Gigacube Radeon 9600XT - $260
512 DDR 400 - $150
SB Live 5.1 - $70

They r the main features u should be watching for when upgrading a pc. As u can c from that it's pretty cheap and that would be a good pc. You could get that now with your $1k and if u wanted just boast the performance with a bit more ram etc.

Them prices are just estimates but I'm pretty sure they will be very close to that.

These are some of the sites I look at hardware. they are all australian sites. I'm also about to buy the radeon 9600XT from scorpion technology, I've heard good feedback from their company.

That motherboard that I recommanded is the one I'm using atm and it's good enough but you could just look around and pick one out that seems to be better to you.
