Rep Power: 5 | What's wrong with my forum :( One of my forums isn't showing the little icon/graphic that shows which topics have new replies. This was working the other day, but not now. What could be wrong?
here's the url where the forum is: http://www.autumnwhisperstome.com/somberrealm
Any ideas? |

OR
is there some .htacces file in the directories where the images are?
or the top levels of the forum path ?
remove them, & it might work again.

Rep Power: 5 | Re: What's wrong with my forum :( checked the htaccess file and there was one in the cache folder. I removed that, then put it back in. I saw the little images after that...right after I did it, but if it happens again I probably have to remove the .htaccess file and leave it out?
Also, along the lines of .htacess: I created my own 404 page and don't what to add to the .htaccess file. My first two sites I had my hosting company folks do it for me, but I really don't want to have to ask them to do that again....
any ideas on what to do? In their Cpanel the htaccess file looks completely blank, but there IS one in the main directory. Can I just copy and upload the one from one of my other sites? |

Thanks, Griffin. |

Rep Power: 5 | Re: What's wrong with my forum :( Hmmnn. Frag, will you do another test post for me? I'll delete it after a few minutes, but I want to see if it's just a fluke or what's happening.
Thanks. |
