I screwed up BIG time---heeeeelp!

Man, I am way bummed at the moment, and I'm hoping that someone here can help me fix this major screw up of mine.

I created a movie in Flash, and I'm not that skilled. I actually got done with the movie awhile ago, so instead of testing the movie in the program... I published the movie and.... I've been working this ENTIRE TIME with most of the elemenents OFF THE STAGE!

So far I've tried everything i can think of to fix this and NOTHING is working.

Tried modifying the document (have Flash MX) and increasing the size of the stage... and it only inserts extra space to the RIGHT, which is totally not helping.

Tried following the instructions in Flash's help section to set the movie's size to fit the contents, and that didn't work at all. I even tried to move all the elements to the upper left side of the stage.... only part of them would move, for some reason.

Nothing is working. Am I screwed at this point, or is there a way so that ALL of the movie's contents show? Resizing in the page's Flash code only stretches out the movie and makes it look bad and oversized.

I have the .fla file if that's needed to see what's going on.

hmm, had that myself once...

maybe set the sizes in the embed tag, the size your flash is?

I tried that, but all it did was stretch the entire movie too big.

Okay, now remember there's no preloader, so it seems like it's forever before the movie loads (preloader was an afterthought too, unfortunately... but one problem at a time).

send us the FLA and i will see what i can do, should just be a matter of getting the size of the image and changing the canvas size

Thank you SOOOOOOO much, Griffin! I have so much to learn about Flash that sometimes I feel I'll never get there. Like optimizing, for one thing, and preloaders... lol

Almost done with a theme for a client called realsportsfan once thats done i will look at it and add some griffin love :P
