Spawn, you goof. lol I don't know ANY php (might have to get a dummies book for that lol). But I don't use phpBB anymore, except for one site and I'm trying to figure out how to convert that theme (if it's even possible).

Spawn, if you learn to make themes... make some for SMF! There's few available, and many of those are so-so. I like your work, so get crackin! lol

autmumn, i was talking to spawn, about the SMF theming ^^
and, the 2 books i bought sucked.
the first was really bad, and the second one had a CD included wich f*cked up my pc...
atleast the book was well explained
so, if you really want a book, look carefully what you buy!

Spawn: My SMF theme I'm using is sort of half-assed modified (made the images dark to fit the board), but the rest of the mods aren't going to be done until I get the official okay from the designer who created it.

I'd love to make my own theme and graphics, but I wouldn't know how to put it all together (coding, CSS, etc.).

CSS would be easy, because that's the same file on all themes

the coding is way to hard when you don't find a descent tut / person who'm knows SMF

lol Bloc is cool. I did write and ask him about a couple of themes, and he sent a pm with a link to a site he built with a VERY dark, silver & black theme that was really cool. But it's a web site skin/theme, not a board. He says he's considering doing a darker theme for SMF. YAAAY!
