Modify template and use it ¿? ¿? ¿? ¿?

Hi everyone!! I have a doubt and that's why I post here... {{sorry for my language, but I am Spanish and surely you will find many mistakes

}}

I have seen one of your templates for phpbb forums, "Clanz Darkness 2.0", and I think it's ideal for the forum I am building. Of course, taht is not a problem. My doubts are:

1º) Can I modify the colors of the template as well as the upper image and put it in my forum??

2º) In that case, is it just a matter of changing he images the package brings or may I change part of the code??

I hope you answer me. I have fallen in love with that template

normally just replacing the images would do the trick.

Since it is a free templare you can change what ever you like BUT

You HAVE to keep the info for BLuePearl at the bottom of the site with a link back to this site

only, i'm wondering why everybody editing the side images seems to have an distorted left side (bottom part of the side image)

Thank you all for your good comments, it just makes me keep going on

Now the next step is changing somo of the colors. I haven't slept indays just to do all this stuff, I'm becoming a night creature

I don't know either, but what I know for sure is that I did the cutting of the whole image twice, the first time it was a disaster, so this one is supposed to be "the one" Guesss I won't change the side imagen... At least there are many other things to do previously.

Did u save it as a GIF in Photoshop?

I find saving GIF images in photoshop give them better quality than GIF images saved in other programs.

Also r u making it transparent?

Yes, that is what I did. I made an image in photoshop and "save it for web", gif 128bits, and with transparency. Nevertheless, I don't think it is very disastrous, is it?

Waou, it's difficult changing the colors... I will have to invent something ^_^UUUU

ah, then it's the transparency giving you the problems, gif images are known for their pixel borders when you save them as transparent images.

so, if you would save it as an .jpg or .png(24) image, it wouldn't happen.

only those 2 have problems.
.jpg - no transparency
.png - transparent, but not in IE, unless you use an special code i posted in here somewhere
