it's just an example,
nomatter wich size you take, griffin, if it's 10px or 100px, the effect is the same, to much content makes the cell stretch

no stylesheet used, just plain html that comes when you open dreamweaver, and the code in it, like you see.

it's not the background that distorts it, it's simply the content that does...

just to make sure, i'm not talking about the backgrounds, CSS or any of that,
i was just talking about the tables...

cuz about the CSS, fixed backgrounds don't repeat, i know that...

Well obviously u dont read posts but browse them.

I made u a member of staff because i thought u had learnt to read threads properly and not post pointless stuff, obviously i was wrong.

In future if u want to question my advice to visitors then at least know what u r talking about

A good web designer will be able create fixed tables and also be able to calculate the maximum information going into that cell. Obviously a designer is not going to add long words or long images to a cell 10 pixels wide.
