Help with Status and Ranks Icons
What is the best way to create animated thread status icons? Also, I need to make custom User Rank icons. I have a Star Wars themed site and would like to have them as lightsabers. I need a red set and green set for the Ranks.

Any help would be great

well, make the image in photoshop and export it to freehand, in there animate it.
