FTP progam, need help asap

Hi everyone: Here I am once again trying to figure out what the heck to do about the ftp problem I'm having.

I HAD/HAVE ws_ftp. Since getting a new machine my registration code doesn't work anymore. And trying to get them to help with this is like pulling teeth.

I give up. arrgh!

I want to buy a new program, one that works well, is easy to learn and use, because I have to use it asap.

So... I really need your suggestions in a big way!

Also, is there a decent ftp client that I can buy at Best Buy or something so that I have a physical installation disk?

Smart_FTP? i think its free and its pretty good. I use WS_FTP_Pro and its the only FTP that i will use since i got it from a friend for little money.

But Smart_FTP is pretty good.

i like WS_FTP_Pro to its easy to use you can even view pictures with it to see whats there

ho, that sounds cool! but bandwidth consuming, wich is a minus for me

i got lots of band width 1110 GB and i use 7.02 GB of it, got lots of empty space on my web host hehe

I use ws_ftp Professional 2006 and its an awesome program.

I guess I just have a bad taste in my mouth over ws_ftp. Couldn't afford the 'tech support package' when I bought the home version, and man... nothing but problems. And you have to jump through hoops to get a working code. The dang thing doesn't work if you have to use it on another computer (like when you buy another one, as I did). :s

I went ahead and bought Cute FTP.... someone else had recommended it, and so far I like it. Plus... it's easy to retrieve the reg code if you need to.

I highly recommend filezilla but you can also check out FireFTP extension if you use Firefox. Both are free and stable.
