Re: PC Help - Monitor

right-click on your desktop, go to the options where you set your resolution

in there you should see 1 and 2 in a box somewhere in the middle
select the correct one and set the resolution right.
if you can't, install the drivers for your video card.

Re: PC Help - Monitor

all the drivers are there, I cant see when i have the DVI pluged in, so im on Analog right now, i got the res to work right actually... but i still prefer the DVI since i had a more crisp picture on Games and it ran a bit better (no glitches or anything like that)

Re: PC Help - Monitor

Just recently changed my GFX card to one which supported HDMI. As my new Dell monitor has multiple HDMI inputs. HDMI is basicly the same as DVI but has audio - Analog cables are called RGB

Re: PC Help - Monitor

I thought they were called RGB. im just going to leave it the way it is, Why fix something if theres nothing wrong with it i guess. Just annoyed me that the DVI wasn't working.

Re: PC Help - Monitor

make sure the DVI cable is tightly connected, i found before i used my HDMI from laptop to tv that the DVI cable would lose connection if it wasnt tight even it was fully connected.
