Re: my last noobie question i promise

lol i promise this is my last one and this is the noobiest one yet. I feel almost embarsed asking this

ok say i have a picture that has a black backround but my backround is an abstract red or something that has a special design already. How do i make it so that the object in the picture is as dark and its normal but instead of the black backround it blends in with the backround.

Like in my sig. You see the gun and i blended it in with a soft light or something but how could i make it so that its vivid and just seems natural in the backround.

I can get pictures on the backround but then i have to blend it in and it looks very bad

i would like something like this

ask you can see the g36c is bold and colored naturally but blends in perfectly with the backround. So how do i do that

Re: my last noobie question i promise

ok this is the tricky part, a black background is always the hardest in the beginning, but what i suggest to you is to cut out the image or what ever u want to work with so its just the image and no backgound, so that way once u place it on the black it looks like it is one image like it is blended

if ya need more help just ask

Re: my last noobie question i promise

well i dont mean always a black backround i mean like adding this picture

to this backround

and so that the gun keeps its natural look but fits with the backround. Like taz has that guy on the right side of his sig and it blends in perfectly

Re: my last noobie question i promise

Re: my last noobie question i promise

no i don't think so..

i would suggest not merging layers unless u are working with heaps like say 40 to reduce clutter..
With work like that, that probably has around 5 layers u don't need to merge
