Rep Power: 5 | Quicktime is the devil For some reason Firefox is configured to use quicktime when a sound link is clicked on. I HATE HATE HATE QT and want FF to use windows media player.
i've looked everywhere in the settings to change this, but I can't find where to do this.
Any ideas, all you FF users?? |

Rep Power: 5 | Re: Quicktime is the devil I had the worst time with QT on my old computer. It kept loading at startup, and I kept unchecking it in msconfig to load at startup and it never worked---loaded at startup anyway.
THEN, I uninstalled the program---but it was still there, still launched at startup. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HAAAAAAAATE quicktime! |

go to start -> program files -> and there is something with programs in it that boot up at start.
so, if you delete it there, it shouldn't boot with ur pc anymore |
