XP up grade

My pc has been hit with the Micro soft bug , saying I might have a dodgey copy...shhhhhhhhh....anywas a few guys have tried to help get rid of it, but its very persistant.Iv'e decided to reformat ( been a long time anyways) to give it a good clean out.What I would like to know is this.I'm going to buy (yes actually buy) the latest XP pro.Is there anythng I should know like its no good, or what ever.Thanks for any tips guys

Dont worry i have the same problem, damn bubble can be annoying. The only thing is my windows did come with my operating system so go figure :/

I believe a new version of windows is coming out soon anyways (longhorn) or it might even be released.

I will look into it

The new windows called Vista is coming out soon i think.. Windows XP Pro is really good, if im not mistaken it comes with free web hosting too...

not sure on that one, my college was giving out Windows XP pro and said it came with the hosting.

Have you tryed to do a safe recovery? It makes your computer files go back to the way they were like a week or a day ago...whatever you choose.

mines the 3rd copy of the original windows installed on my pc, and I don't have that problem at all

btw, vista (aka. longhorn) ... i wouldn't recommend it, it looks really cool and all, but.. the specs you need are waaaaaay to high

I tried the recovery mode Spawn...no luck man

still got that annoying bubble.Looks like the Re Formatt is comin up...heaven help me

Yeah all beta versions of windows r called 'longhorn' before they r given a real name before being released.

Personally cant wait for the new windows

Dunno if the **** at computer store knew what he was talkin about, but he said Microsoft is delaying the new windows until next year.
