Invision Power Board or vbulletin?

Im going to buy one of them for a Game Community (or two) and i need a good one, that has a portal and all that fun stuff... I also need to be able to add an Arcade type of thing... It would be nice for a gallery and blog (kinda what BP has....) i know IPb has it, but i haven't had much experience with vB

So from you guys who use Forums alot, for gfx and game communities.

P.S. i hate phpBB, Despise yaBB, and am starting to hate SMF...

Ive always used vBulletin and love it, but honestly i havent ever really used IPB so i cant really say how good or bad it is.

My opinion get VB

I agree with Sean, IPB is actually pretty bad. I know alot of people have some problems with it, but at the same time i know some people who swear by it.

You have the choice between a leased license and owned one, i suggest the owned one

it may cost $160USD for a owned license but the yearly renewal fee is $30 or $40 compared to $80 a year for leased

eh, i kinda enjoy the way ipb looks.. idk, the default vB board is uglllllyyyyyy.

Agreed VB default is ugly and blocky but when modified can look alot better but.

But i think all default forum templates are ugly, except the new phpBB3 one which is sexy i reckon
