cheers for that, the sun is so bright on my monitor i didnt actually see which one of those was filled in.

where is the hack for putting a flash header on instead of a gif'd one....

no hack is needed u just need to create a flash header upload it to your server and use the embed code that comes with macromedia flash.

hmm, 2 steps forward one back here. I have ticked the "ignore" button and set it off to import the xml file and it sits there for about 3 minutes and then comes up "page cannot be displayed"

Any ideas? Do I need to chmod any particular folder on the ftp site to 777?

aha, found the folder was 755 not 777, changed it and it went in straight away

As i have modded the template I have changed the footer slightly to read this

"Style based on X-Factor Ver1.2 by Bluepearl Design" with a link back to Bluepearl.

I am not sure if i like the white though, maybe if u added a slightly different shade of white for the category and header titles like u have on your main page the forum section will look more split.
